2023 I worked together with the women of LUZI at Falscher Fisch in Berlin Neukölln. In order to connect with our working field and the near neighborhood, we developed a series of carpets inspired by the graphics of the small shops along Sonnenallee. We found old banners for advertising and transform them into carpets. Once the work was done, we took it out for a walk. At Eis Delfino, we got compliments and ice cream for free; thanks, it was delicious!
LUZI is a project of S27 – Art & Education, supporting young women with refugee experience and newcomers in Berlin, the work was made in collaboration with Katja Schmidt.
